Celebration

Thirty-five was not the year I thought it would be. I think most people would say that about the past year and a half - wouldn’t you?

There are so many feelings I want to express, so many people to thank, a few more I need to apologize too. All in due time, I promise.

Oddly enough, I’m at a loss for words. I simply want to share some memories, from my birthday through the past year. All of the things that have helped me to smile, if you’re not pictured, please know you are remembered and honored every single day (just ask my gratitude journal!).

Feels weird to smile while the world is burning around us, but on this day, I will blow the candle out and wish for a more gentle world.
